Production Farm Designing Based on LEISA to Fulfill Health Nutrition Needs: The Case of TPB-IPB Students Dormitory
This study was conducted to design IPB Farm Unit to be an integrated production farm with LEISA system approach. The farm products will be used to fulfill TPB-IPB dormitory students health nutrition needs. This study used survey method to the dormitory students and several IPB’s farm production unit from April to August 2005. Integrated farm production was focused on Cikarawang and Sawah Baru Production Farm. In general, this report discusses about calorie, food, commodities need, and their production area to feed 3,000 students at the dormitory. Integrated farm production plan and design on the bases of the students needs of average 2,500 kcal per capita per day are the output of this research.
